Beautiful Premises

The Pearl Middle School, Karaikal operates in a modern, purpose-built site which provides an outstanding environment for learning to take place. Classrooms are spacious (especially with a maximum of 30 students per class) and all areas of the 2-storey school are graced with plentiful natural light.

For a small school, facilities are exceptional and cater the needs of all specialist subject.

A library, and dining hall ensure that The Pearl Middle School students benefit from large school amenities while enjoying the advantages of a more intimate instructional setting.

Students have the option of subscribing to our hot lunch programme. Our caterer holds the quality label and can accommodate a range of delicious lunch and snacks.

Access And Security

The school is situated near the Karaikal Bus stand, 2 minutes walk from the CRC Bus depot and just a 10-minute walk from the Karaikal Bus station at the heart of Kariakal.

Despite having a complete CCTV surveillance in the building we have a supervised entrance for students, staff and visitors. Students can be safely dropped off by car in front of the entrance.

The entrance to the building is completely secure and is permanently supervised by staff. The large recreational area is also completely enclosed, thus offering maximum protection for students.

In years 1 to 6, children follow the curriculum outlined in Key Stages 1 and 2 covering a wide range of subjects including Mathematics, English, French, Science, Humanities, ICT (Computers), Visual Arts, Music and Physical Education. View full syllabus details.

These first years of a child's education are vital for developing their critical thinking and problem solving skills and, as such, we have created an environment in which our young students feel empowered to ask questions, safe to meet challenges head on, and accompanied on their journey towards reaching their full potential.

This is a time in which to instill a love of learning that children will carry with them throughout their lives. Our small class sizes permit our teachers to tailor their lessons to suit individuals' abilities and learning styles. System & Teaching Methodology

The ICSE curriculum is designed to provide an extensive network of knowledge which is capable of delivering realistic information and can analyze the logical thinking of the student.

The ICSE curriculum has adopted the XSEED teaching methodology which is a research based academic method of teaching and learning.

The XSEED method builds the thinking skills and also builds the problem solving confidence method. The XSEED is to create a fearless child which makes the children to ask more questions and capability to write on their own .

Our Miracle Curriculum promotes meta-cognitive skills that enable students to monitor our own learning.

Digi Class

Digi class empowers teachers to transform traditional blackboard and chalk classroom in to interactive sessions that makes the classroom sessions more interactive , interesting , comprehensive and effective through audio-visual approach.
