Red Day Celebration By Nursery Students

RED DAY - “The spiritual representation of red is power, energy, vitality, dominance, action, assertion, creation , survival and passion .When a spiritual sign appears in your life that is red , it usually represents that you are ready to take action on a goal or project that you have been putting off.”

Can we imagine the world without colours? Not at all! Nature itself has may colours, which makes the world look beautiful. Colours are indeed the smiles of nature.

The ‘Red Day’ celebration is a wonderful learning activity which helps the children to understand the concept of primary colours. Red colour also signifies love and compassion. All the tiny tots of Nursery dress up beautifully in Red color clothes. Mentors also joins the celebration dressed in red. The class room’s doors and boards are decorated with red colour cut outs and red objects like red fruits, flowers and toys are displayed. The children get excited on seeing the red hangouts and Red balloons. The celebration is followed up with the children participating in colouring(palm printing) activity related to red colour. A lovely day is passed by getting introduced to the colour of love and happiness. By the end of the Red day celebration all the kiddos carried away their fascinating craft work home.

Blue Day Celebration By Nursery Students

“Adolescents paint their moods in shades of blue”

Blue – the colour of loyalty, stability , serenity , inspiration, strength, and wisdom.

The significance of the blue colour was reiterated through a series of activities .The dress code of the day is blue. All the Nursery children including teachers come dressed in blue as well as the classroom is pre decorated to give the blue day feel. Recognition of blue colour is done with blue colour crayons and blue water colour. The classrooms are decorated with blue balloons and children are introduced to different shades of blue like blue whale, blue sky, blue car , blue rain drop cutouts and blue balloons. Little ones are made to recognize blue colour through different games and play-way activities. They are asked to bring blue colour objects as an activity. All the toddlers are enjoyed to the fullest by the activities which were arranged for them by the class teachers. By the end of the blue day celebration all the kiddos carried away with their fascinating craft work home.

Green Day Celebration By Nursery Students

“Green” – The colour of life, renewal, nature, and energy, is associated with meanings of growth, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility and environment.

Green color day is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. All the Nursery students and teachers are beautifully dressed up in the Nature’s colour – Green. The children are taken to the garden to observe what is green colour. They are given an activity of colouring a tree in the paper. They enjoy their moment with the green coloured juice (mint juice) and green coloured rice (coriander) served during lunch time in the garden. The children play with the green coloured puppets like , Parrot, Frog etc. The day is celebrated with full of fun filled activities.

Yellow Day Celebration By Nursery Students

Yellow is the colour of optimism, glory, sunshine, and happiness. It stands for freshness, positivity, intellect and joy. The motive of celebrating yellow day is to make the children aware of the colour yellow, its significance and to develop the fine motor skills. Early identification of colours helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of a child’s holistic development.

The day begins with fun filled introduction concerning the colour yellow. Classes are decorated with yellow balloons, ribbons, flowers, sunflowers , Honey bees and cut outs. The dress code of the day is yellow where the children and the teachers come in their yellow outfit. It is an indeed a visual treat to see the impact of the yellow colour on our little angels. All the students of Nursery sing rhymes and share their yellow coloured toys, did colouring activity and with a banana and mango drink. It is an amazing learning experience which gives a long lasting effect on each child.

Yellow the colour of wisdom and intellectual energy had a positive influence on our tender tots.

Orange Day Celebration By Nursery Students

Orange – “it combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with sunshine and the tropics. Orange represents happiness, determination , attraction and success.”

Orange is a dynamic colour that stimulates imagination, joy and creativity. The classrooms are beautifully decorated with orange coloured objects, activities sheets and balloons. The children do many classroom activities using the colour orange as a theme and learn interesting facts about it.

Our little Seedlings and Saplings are dressed in shades of vibrant orange colour, shining bright. The little Blooming are asked to bring orange coloured objects for a ‘See and Tell’ activity. They bring many objects like orange ball, orange, marigold, orange toys and many other orange coloured things. The children speak wonderful things in “See and Tell” related to this colour. The teachers collects the objects from the children and displays them on a table and teach the names of the objects to the children and also introduce many other facts about them. Students are given a thorough understanding of the colour orange through different activities, such as how to get this secondary colour by mixing two primary colours: red and yellow. By the end of the orange day celebration all the kiddos are carried away with their fascinating craft work home.

Pink Day Celebration By Nursery Students

Pink – “a colour that represents love, kindness, and compassion. It combines the passion of red with the purity of white, creating a soothing and nurturing hue.”

Pink is a soft and delightful colour that inspires calmness, warmth, and tenderness. The classrooms are beautifully adorned with pink-coloured decorations, activity sheets, and balloons. The children engage in creative classroom activities centred around the theme of pink and learn many fun and meaningful facts about it.

Our little Seedlings and Saplings arrive dressed in adorable shades of pink, radiating charm and joy. The little Blooming children participate in a ‘See and Tell’ activity, bringing pink-coloured objects like a pink teddy bear, pink flowers, rose quartz, pink toys, and many other pink items. The children confidently talk about their objects and express their thoughts about the colour pink. The teachers collect and display the objects on a table, naming each one and sharing interesting facts about them with the students. Through various activities, the students gain a clear understanding of the colour pink, including how it is formed by mixing the colours red and white. By the end of the Pink Day celebration, our little ones carry home their beautiful pink-themed crafts with big smiles and lovely memories.

Purple Day Celebration By Nursery Students

Purple – “a colour that combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. It is often associated with royalty, wisdom, dignity, mystery, and creativity.”

Purple is a rich and magical colour that sparks imagination, curiosity, and inspiration. The classrooms are beautifully decorated with purple-coloured objects, creative activity sheets, and vibrant balloons. The children engage in exciting classroom activities with the colour purple as the central theme, learning many fascinating facts about it.

Our little Seedlings and Saplings are dressed in elegant shades of purple, spreading cheer all around. The little Blooming children participate in a fun ‘See and Tell’ activity, bringing purple-coloured objects like brinjals, grapes, purple toys, lavender flowers, and more. They confidently talk about their objects and share what they know about the colour purple. The teachers collect the items and arrange them on a display table, teaching the names of the objects and sharing interesting facts. Students also learn how to create the colour purple by mixing two primary colours – red and blue. By the end of the Purple Day celebration, our tiny tots proudly take home their creative craftwork, filled with joy and a deeper understanding of the beautiful colour purple.
